Dear Plex chefs,

Anyone know how to program a 'shut down mac mini' function onto the harmony one? my mac mini streams from a nas on airdisk. just sending the mini to sleep will break the connection and plex wont find the movies anymore. so i hve to restart the mini when the connection is terminated

so how can i program a "restart mini" key onto the harmony one? a shutdown mini key would also be cool.
Alternatively, best of all would be a "reconnect to NAS" function, so i could actually use the sleep function.

surely i am not the only one wiht this problem, can anyone help?

cheers, Kurios

There's a Shut Down item in Plex's Power menu, if that's any help.

You can do it with applescripts. There's lots of information in the forums about using the Harmony remotes to run an applescript.

The script you need would be:
tell application "Finder" to shut down

It /does/ shut it down. I use it all the time. Go to the Power menu and click "right" on your remote if "Shut Down" doesn't show.
