hi i was wondering what plex web client was so i purchased it
but it doesnt work. plex on android and windows work just fine
i have plex server running on a synology DS212+

Your NAS, being ARM CPU based, is unable to transcode media, more info on that here -> http://wiki.plexapp...._Server_and_NAS
The WebClient currently requires "transcoded" media.
To 'fix it" you'll need to run the media server on something capable of transcoding.

my nas has video station and that has no problem playing the files
all my movies are like 700MB so it isnt HD quality either and it's in a standard .AVI format
so why does plex need to be transcoded and videostation doesnt?

may not always be that way, but right now, there is no transcoder for ARM and WebClient will only play transcoded media (and the reasons for this have been discussed already if you search around for them)my nas has video station and that has no problem playing the files
