I know plex is based off of xbmc which recently they updated there software to work with DTS-MA and Dolby TrueHD audio. See the wiki and download the nightly build http://wiki.xbmc.org...le=AudioEngine. I Just don't know how close they are in sharing builds but i thought i would ask. It would be pretty cool to see this in an updated plex version :-) Awesome work devs.

Yep, I've been anxiously awaiting HD audio bitstreaming in Plex for Windows. I'm currently using XBMC 12.0 (Frodo) Alpha 2 and it's working great in terms of HD audio bitstreaming!

On a similar note with xbmc audio, xbmc converts AAC 5.1 to Dolby 5.1, would be nice to get that surround sound conversion on Plex as well, instead of it converting it to 2.0. Anyone know if this is in the works?
