Can't find my files in media manager

I have a DS412+ with DSM 4.0 and PMS v0.9.5.3 installed. I DO NOT have avahi installed, do I need to have everything running properly? When I start PMS I can see it on my iPad and so on, so the server is working. The problem is when I try to add a library in media manager, I find the right folder but there's no movies or TV-series showing after I've added them. the Plex user has access to the folder, although I can only see my admin account being logged in from my mac mini. The folder is on volume1, video/temp and only contains two files just to try to figure this out. The files are named Coraline 2009.mkv and Eastern Promises 2007.mkv. I've also tried (2009) and (2007). There are no other characters involved. If I click the reload button in the bottom right corner nothing happens, and if I Alt+click it the library section starts spinning and goes on for hours. This is what the log looks like when I try to add a library:

Hi everyone! I read everything in this thread and googled around for quite some time but I can't find the answer.

HI, can you restart the PMS, run a forced update (Shift+ refresh icon) then upload your Plex Media Server.log and Plex Media Scanner.log?
Avahi won't be a factor in not being able to see items from within the media manager.
Can you also confirm what the exact file path you have defined in the section?

That was quick! :-)
This time after the forced update it was only spinning for a little while.
I can't find the Plex Media Scanner.log, searched for it in the plex folder but it doesn't exist?
The file path is volume1/video/test/
There is a @eaDir in /video/test/ don't know if that matters since there is an @?
Thanks a lot!

was fixed in a later release, you might want to try the 0.9.6 beta.
