I have a Full Side by Side 3D movie but Plex on my samsung TV won't play it, it just shows a black screen. Can it just play Half SBS or can it play Full SBS as well?

you'll need a 4k hdmi cable to watch Full SBS

I don't use any HDMI cable, the Plex is built in APP to the Samsung TV.

In the release notes topic it said for release 0.9.5.1:

- [NEW] - Player - automatically change into 3D mode, that this works you have to name your movie file correct it has to include H-SBS / Half-SBS for Side-By-Side content or H-TAB / Half-TAB for Top-And-Bottom content. This is not case sensitive.

So my guess is that it is just for Half SBS.

only half 3D is supported because the player supports only a maximum resolution of 1920x1080

Didn't that already get answered in his last post? Is Samsung doesn't allow it in his player then hd1080 can't implement it. Same goes for subtitles and audio selection, this hasn't been delivered yet by Samsung (or at least not properly) so nothing he can do about it.

Well i see how that could have been misinterpreted. He probably wasnt aware Plex relies on Samsungs player.
