Stop iOS device from going to sleep No sleep while downloading

Is there any way to prevent the iPad or iPhone from going to sleep when KLEXi is open while downloading files to the device? I queued a season of a TV-series that will take a few hours to download but since I'm not playing anything on the iPad I'm wondering if there's any way to prevent the iPad from going to sleep while KLEXi is downloading the episodes. Any ideas?
